I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a strong background in medicine, critical care, substance use, and neurology.

I have been a nurse since 2002 and received my Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2016, working for many years in critical care. In 2023, I completed post-graduate training as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. My decision to pursue psychiatry grew out of both professional and personal experiences during the pandemic. I witnessed the devastation it caused, not only in the hospital but also among loved ones who struggled with their mental health and couldn’t find the support they needed. That experience strengthened my commitment to mental health care and to providing accessible, compassionate treatment. I see patients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults.
